Sanoura Haven was born from a nurse’s heart and vision to create a sanctuary for families of medically complex children. What started as a dream to impact one child's life has grown into a mission to provide comfort, understanding, and light to many.
The Meaning
The name Sanoura Haven reflects the very heart of who we are. Rooted in the Arabic wordsSana and Noura, it reflects our dedication to nurturing every life we touch. Haven embodiesthe sanctuary we strive to create, a place of safety, belonging, and unconditional compassion.

In Loving Memory: Our Inspiration
Kaitlin & Robert dedicate this agency not only to Kaitlin’s beloved patients who have found peace beyond this life, but also to our incredible fathers, whose lives and journeys continue to inspire the heart behind Sanoura Haven.
Both Kaitlin’s father, Kelvin, and Robert’s father Vernon, passed peacefully in their sleep due to long, hard fought fights with medical conditions. After a courageous battle with rapidly growing cancer, Kelvin left this world at rest, on his own terms and in his own home, surrounded by the love of his wife and five children. Robert’s father, Vernon, passed unexpectedly after a struggle with suspected dementia and cardiac complications, leaving behind his wife and six children. Both men were truly inspiring and touched the lives of many. Their journeys, marked by courage, compassion, and the power of dignified care, along with the patients we’ve said goodbye to along the way, have deeply shaped our mission. Through Sanoura Haven, we strive to provide the kind of comfort, respect, and compassionate skilled care that honors the wishes, individuality, and humanity of every patient and family we serve. In the future, we hope to expand into home health and hospice care, continuing to walk beside and serve all families with the same respect, understanding, and love that guided us through our own journeys of loss. Gone but not forgotten, their light will live on in our memories.
