About Sanoura Haven

  • Sanoura Haven is a licensed pediatric private duty nursing agency in Idaho. We provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to medically complex children in the comfort of their own homes, ensuring they receive compassionate, continuous care where they feel safest.

  • “Sanoura” represents light and healing, and “Haven” symbolizes safety and comfort. Together, Sanoura Haven means a safe place where light and care are restored to little lives.

Services & Care

  • We offer in-home skilled nursing for children with complex medical needs including tracheostomies, ventilators, feeding tubes, seizure disorders, oxygen dependence, and other chronic conditions. Our nurses provide continuous hourly care as well as intermittent visits, depending on each child’s plan of care.

  • All care is provided by licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who specialize in pediatrics and have training in complex medical care, including ventilator and trach management.

  • Home health visits are typically short and task-based (for example, medication administration or wound care). Private duty nursing provides extended, hourly care often 8, 10, or 12 hours at a time for children who need ongoing medical monitoring and skilled intervention.

Eligibility & Insurance

  • Children who require continuous skilled nursing care to manage complex medical conditions may qualify. Eligibility is determined by a physician’s order and approval from Idaho Medicaid or private insurance.

  • We currently accept Idaho Medicaid. We are working toward credentialing with select private insurance companies. Please contact us to confirm coverage.

  • Yes. We do accept private-pay arrangements for families who are not covered under Medicaid or private insurance but still wish to receive skilled care at home.

For Families

  • You can start by calling or submitting a referral form through our website. We’ll coordinate with your child’s physician and/or Nurse Reviewer to obtain your child’s assessment data, confirm eligibility, and create a personalized plan of care for nursing services.

  • We believe in consistency and stability. Whenever possible, we schedule the same nurse or small team of nurses with your child to build trust, routine, and comfort.

  • We’ll notify you immediately and work to find a qualified backup nurse. Our goal is to minimize interruptions in your child’s care as much as possible.

  • Yes, our nurses will accompany your child to their day-to-day activities such as school if needed. We coordinate with schools and facilities to ensure continuity of care throughout the day, in compliance with the child’s care plan and school policies.

For Nurses

  • We offer flexible scheduling with day, night, and weekend shifts available. Nurses can choose full-time, part-time, or PRN (as-needed) hours.

  • We welcome nurses who are passionate about pediatrics! Some cases require prior experience, but we provide training and mentorship opportunities for nurses who are new to home-based pediatric care.
